Consumer health data
Last updated October 15, 2026
Food allergies can say something about your health. We keep the ones you choose only to plan meals that leave them out. We don't sell them or share them with anyone else, and you can delete them any time.
This policy covers "consumer health data" under Washington's My Health My Data Act and Nevada's law on consumer health data, held by Aria Fathifard, doing business as Less4Food ("Less4Food", "we", "us"). Our Privacy page covers everything else.
1. What we collect
- The food allergies and intolerances you choose for your household: dairy, egg, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, gluten, soy and sesame.
- Any health detail you write in your household's notes.
- The meal plans and carts we make from them, since they can reflect what your household avoids.
2. Why we collect it
Only to plan meals and build a cart that leave out what you asked us to avoid.
3. Where it comes from
From you, when you set up or change your household.
4. Who receives it
We don't sell it and don't share it with anyone else. We have no affiliates. These service providers process it for us, only to run Less4Food for you:
- Google (Gemini): plans meals and writes recipes from your allergies and notes.
- Neon: our database, which stores it.
- Vercel: hosts Less4Food.
- Resend: sends the weekly email with your plan, if you asked for it.
5. Your rights
You can ask us whether we hold your consumer health data, see it, get a copy, and have it deleted. You can change your allergies any time on the Household page, and delete everything with Delete account there. When you delete, we also ask our service providers to delete it; copies in our backups are gone within 30 days. For anything else, write to aria@less4food.com. We answer within 45 days. If we turn a request down, we'll say why; reply to ask us to look again. If you still disagree, you can contact the Washington or Nevada attorney general.
